Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the operational management of all Housekeeping functions and may be assigned to manage accommodation area or assigned Public areas day/night or Crew area or Pool area. This position provides direct support to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the division’s objectives are met and the day-to-day operations in Accommodation, Pool, Public/ Crew areas are maintained to standard. Housekeeping Supervisor possess a keen understanding of the importance of exceptional service to ensure complete guest and team satisfaction while providing strong leadership to all team members. In accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s Royal Way, each Employee always conducts himself in a professional and courteous manner. This consists of physical and verbal interactions with guests or fellow Employees and/or in the presence of guest and employee.
Hiring Requirements:
- Minimum one year Housekeeping Supervisory experience a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line or hospitality industry related field required, with demonstrated experience supervising team of minimum of 10 employees.
- Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and safety related procedures, requirements and use of equipment, personal protective equipment and job safety analysis related to proper handling chemicals, lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment, garbage removal.
- Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related Company programs (SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos etc.)
Language Requirements
- Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Revenue and Expense Accruals: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of all revenue and expense accruals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Balance Sheet Reviews: Conduct comprehensive and regular balance sheet reviews to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and resolve any potential issues promptly.
- Deferral Controls: Implement and maintain robust controls over deferrals, ensuring proper recognition and adherence to amortization schedules.
- OPEX Management: Strategically manage and control Operating Expenses (OPEX) across various cost centers, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for financial optimization.
- Asset Management: Maintain meticulous control over company assets, including fixed and intangible assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation processes.
Accounts Payable Management:
- Invoice Processing: Assume full responsibility for the AP function, ensuring all vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide the AP team, clearly defining responsibilities and ensuring adherence to established procedures and deadlines.
- Workflow Optimization: Implement and maintain efficient AP workflows and internal controls to optimize payment processes and prevent errors.
Team Leadership:
- Leadership & Direction: Provide strong leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Clearly define team member responsibilities, set performance expectations, and monitor individual and team performance against established goals and deadlines.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting.
- Fluent in English.

MISSION:
Ensure the best experience to the guests.
Job Summary:
- Assisting the Executive Housekeeper at the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and, if applicable, Laundry;
- Works with employees to verify property guestrooms, public spaces and employee areas are clean and well maintained;
- Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action;
- Verifies guest room status is communicated to the Front desk in a timely and efficient manner;
- Inspects guestrooms on a daily basis;
- Obtains a list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments;
- Invenntories stock to verify adequate supplies;
- Uses all available on the job training tools to train new room attendants and provide follow-up training as necessary.
Requirements:
- Stress management and team motivational skills;
- Expert leader and a team player;
- Attention to detail and high organizational capacity, sense of responsibility and rigor;
- Previous experience working in housekeeping is required.
Education/Professional Experience:
- High School Degree;
- 1-2 years previous experience in the function.
Linguistic Knowledge:
- Good communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
