**Job Overview**
The Medical Director for the Hematology-Oncology Center of Excellence provides strategic medical and scientific subject matter input to IQVIA in this therapeutic area informed by their training, experience and expertise. The activity of the medical director includes but is not necessarily limited to early engagement with potential customers, proposal development in response to RFPs, participation in client proposal bid-defense meetings, support at scientific conferences, participation in thought leadership activities, contribution as needed to the formulation of clinical development plans, providing medical director and subject matter expertise as a consultant throughout the research and development lifecycle and the duration of clinical trials, and engagement with colleagues as an internal reference SME for hematology-oncology. Greater independence is expected to be demonstrated over time for medical director activities under the supervision of the therapeutic area head and leadership team.
**Essential Functions**
+ Work independently under the supervision (direct or indirect) of the Hematology-Oncology Center of Excellence Head and COE Leadership team.
+ Provide scientific and clinical advice to internal stakeholders developing proposals, including but not limited to: protocol design/ clinical development plan, insights on mechanism of action of the investigational product, mining data to address important clinical questions relevant to the study, reviewing protocol for scientific/regulatory soundness and feasibility, identification of target site and principle investigator profiles, anticipated patient recruitment, standards of care and competitive landscape.
+ Maintain awareness of latest literature to keep abreast of scientific progress in hematology and oncology.
+ Participate as needed in the preparation for and conduct of client meetings, such as early engagement, proposal discussion and bid defense meetings, post-award transition and governance meetings, and any other engagements necessary to support the goals and objectives of IQVIA.
+ Provide advice, coaching, and preparation of project teams to align executional strategy to medical understanding and considerations.
+ Collaborate as appropriate with key stakeholders and leaders in the organization, e.g., Business Development, Operations, Commercial Consulting Services, Real World Services, and other medical strategy leads across the Centres of Excellence
+ Act as an internal and external consultant throughout the research and development life cycle and the duration of the clinical trials to provide scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to guide project teams
+ Providing scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to guide sponsors in clinical development.
**Qualifications**
+ Oncologist (MD) with training in the relevant therapeutic area . Hematology training or expertise in addition to solid tumor experience is considered a plus.
+ Typically requires a minimum of five to seven years of prior relevant experience.
+ Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within research and development.
+ Will have had a minimum of 3 years of experience outside of the training period with the biopharmaceutical industry either directly or indirectly.

+ Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language (both written and spoken).

We are looking for a Receptionist/Host to join our Front Office team! We are looking for a Back-Office Agent/ PBX to join our team! This role is responsible for answering incoming calls to the hotel and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor.
**Main Responsibilities:**
· Answers incoming calls.
· Redirects calls to guest rooms, employees, or departments through the telephone switchboard system.
· Receives guest messages and ensures their delivery.
· Records all wake‑up call requests and performs the wake‑up call service.
· Provides guests with information about hotel services.
· Understands the operation of the telephone switchboard.
· Knows what actions to take in case of an emergency call.
· Monitors automated systems, including telephone equipment, when the Engineering & Maintenance department is closed; for example, assists guests with minor phone issues in their rooms.
· Assists in communicating complaints or issues related to telephone equipment or services.
· Trains or helps train new telephone operators in performing their duties.
· Opens and closes telephone functionalities in the hotel's Front Office software.
· Sets up conference calls across different locations and time zones.
· Updates telephone directory information.
· Reports any unusual incidents or requests to the supervisor.
· Knows all safety and emergency procedures.
· Performs other tasks as assigned, such as assisting Front Office and Housekeeping with various administrative duties.
**Qualifications:**
· Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hotels.
· Excellent verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
· Familiarity with telephone systems and hotel management software.
· Professional demeanor, discretion, and empathy in guest service.
· Ability to work under pressure and in flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
· Excellent communication and active listening; Courtesy and friendliness; Organization and attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality, proactivity and problem-solving skills, teamwork.

As a Safety Scientist III, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of signal detection and product safety scientist activities, with a focus on tasks that are low to high in complexity or which concern low to high complexity products. Additionally, you will support the mentoring of more junior colleagues, the development of processes, tools, and systems, and may serve as lead on smaller FSP-type projects.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Support strategies for safety data generation, assessment, and communications by regular interactions with Safety Evidence Leads and other stakeholders across the organization world-wide, to gather information on topics to be analysed and present findings at internal meetings.
+ Synthesize contributions from multiple sources of data into meaningful insights in order to demonstrate product(s) value.
+ Monitor competitive environment for new safety information, and compares to safety information of our product(s), thus supporting differentiation activities.
+ In collaboration with Safety Evidence Leads and other stakeholders such as Biostatistics and Digital Technology, establish safety evidence information platforms/dashboards and oversees regular updates. Identify areas for innovation including AI/machine learning and similar.
+ Conduct data mining activities on regular basis to identify data gaps, and communicate safety findings promptly.
+ Ensure reproducibility and traceability of analyses through structured workflows and version control.
+ Maintain documentation of data extraction and analyses.
+ Assist in the design, execution, and reporting of pharmacoepidemiologic studies to address specific safety questions.
+ Attends relevant internal and external meetings for training, competitor intelligence, and collaboration with KOLs and other experts.
**Skills and Competencies**
+ 5+ years of experience in data analysis to understand complex linkages of safety data from various sources, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare setting. Experience working with safety databases required, experience with large healthcare datasets (e.g., EHR, claims, registry data) is a plus
+ Proficiency in data extraction from the safety database (e.g. Argus Safety) and generating data insights using adequate digital tools.
+ Ability to identify gaps and translate them into actionable plans, especially cross-functionally, through technological tools (e.g. GenAI, Copilot, automation tools, etc.) without compromising clinical integrity.
**Education, Experience and Qualifications**
+ Degree in Data Science, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, safety signal tools such as E
+ Empirica, or cloud-based data platforms. Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python) is a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 years working in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
+ Experience in regulated environments (both GCP and GVP).
+ Experience in RWE generation, pharmacoepidemiology and/or rare disease is a plus.
+ Ability to travel up to 20% of time as needed.
