About The Opportunity

We are looking for a
UX Manager
or
Sr. UX Manager
to lead and mentor a global team of designers working on projects for our Growth group in Research and Development. This person will be responsible for managing a team of five UX designers and ensuring that the new functionality we release meets both business and user goals. The role reports to the VP of User Experience in our R&D organization.
The UX team consists of product designers and technical writers who are committed to helping our users create compelling product experiences. We use Figma to create designs using our design system, Habanero. In addition, we employ a set of tools to connect with current and potential customers both within and outside our product.
The Growth group at Salsify is focused on creating new products and capabilities that drive customer satisfaction and business expansion. As one of the leaders of this group, you'll form a triad with an engineering and product management leader to drive innovative projects that push the boundaries of what Salsify's platform can achieve. You'll understand the product, manage a team, and create and sustain processes that help us grow and scale.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. Job Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our cross-functional team, where you'll play an integral role in shaping the user experience of both our applications. You will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled designers, product owners, and developers to create intuitive, user-centered design solutions for products used in critical environments, such as public safety, telecommunications, and dispatch-related systems.
As a UX/UI Designer, you will work closely with various stakeholders to conceptualize and implement design concepts, structures, and graphic elements for user interfaces. Your contributions will directly impact the development of products used by professionals in high-pressure settings.
Your contribution to something big:
- Evaluate & Analyze: Assess the current user experience of existing applications, and identify opportunities for UX improvements.

- Design: Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using design tools like Figma. Create graphic assets (icons, layouts, visual elements) using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
