Profile Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Java.
• Comfortable navigating and working with frontend code.
• Experience with GCP or AWS .
• Solid understanding of backend development best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Providing requirements analysis, system design, .NET development, DB development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical support
• Performing code review to ensure best practices are followed
• Working both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team
• Communicating clear instructions to team members and helping manage the flow of day-to-day operations
• Communicating with the client regularly
• Providing technical leadership for the team – mentor, coach, and lead by example

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering
• 5+ years of background in development
• Competency in .NET, ASP.NET Core
• Proficiency in Mongo and/or Azure SQL

• Experience in Azure Cloud, including different SaaS offerings (Service Bus, Blob, Redis, etc.)
• Knowledge of bug-tracking systems
• Pragmatic approach to balancing process against flexibility in achieving objectives
• Organizational skills, including the capacity to self-manage, structure work, set priorities, and work to deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience in Python, FastAPI
• Familiarity with Databricks/Spark/PySpark
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems

What You’ll Do

• Engineer, design and estimate solutions for new feature requests together with product team
• Decide on the best approach for implementation i.e. front-end or back-end solutions
• Review pull-requests from others to ensure high quality and maintainable solutions
• Coach other team members and elevate their technical skills
• Implement new features and build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs that match designs
• Write unit and integration tests and make sure other team members do the same
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
• Follow-up new evolutions of technology and take initiative to keep the stack up to date

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional software development background, including front-end and back-end code
• Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS, and working with pre-processors for SCSS and JS
• Knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
• C# skills
• An eye for UI design
• Competency in reviewing pull requests of colleagues and improving their technical capability

• Proficiency in common software engineering practices such as OO-development, common design patterns, unit testing, secure coding practices (OWASP), writing clean and neat code, and documentation
• Knowledge of common technologies such as REST web services, OAuth, JSON, SQL…
• Practice in agile software development using SCRUM

Nice to have

• Expertise in with VB.Net (for some legacy applications)
• Certified Scrum Master
• Experience having led a sizable feature from design/architecture through to delivery

Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Darwin Spring Boot for back-end services and Darwin Angular/React ODS for front-end interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy solutions in a cloud-native environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth application operations in a cloud-based environment.
• Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated deployments.
• Implement and maintain high coding standards and best practices, including code reviews and testing.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs, microfronts and microservices.
• Proficiency in front-end development using Angular, React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, API gateways, and cloud-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Has to speak English fluently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Nginx for reverse proxy and web server configurations.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and other security standards for securing APIs.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Experience in automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowing application deployment and lifecycle on OpenShift, including containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Intermediary Spanish.
• Fluent Portuguese
