About the role

As an entry level role of Software Developer , we expect you to have basic knowledge of:

Our focus is on: Core systems, satellite systems (such as document management systems, collection systems) but also extends to integrations, data, and large project organizations. For this we seek a hands-on Solution Architect.
Objectives:
In this role, you’ll be diving into the development and enhancement of solutions using OpenText™ tools like Service Management (SMAX), Service Manager 9.7.1, and Operations Orchestration (OO). You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you should bring solid experience in at least one. You’ll also get to work with Apex and AWS, contributing to agile teams that value collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your work will help shape reliable, scalable systems that support IT service management across the organization. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with modern tools, and being part of a team that drives meaningful change, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain solutions using OpenText™ SMAX, Service Manager 9.7.1, and Operations Orchestration (OO);
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and enhancements in Apex and AWS environments;
- Coordinate and manage resolution of technical findings, patches, updates, and certificate renewals;
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to iterative development cycles;
- Analyse business and technical requirements to design scalable and maintainable solutions;
- Support integration of OpenText™ tools with other enterprise systems and platforms;
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments;
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and development processes;
- Contribute to company infrastructure and security assessments, including operational tasks automation;
- Ensure compliance with internal development standards, security policies, and architectural guidelines;
- Work in sync with product manager and release manager;
- Creating, adjusting, and updating the associated documents based on the changes made according to the client's specifications;
- Keep the documentation of the application lifecycle up to date;
- Supporting AMS in transferring development packages.
We believe that the right profile for this job should have / be:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a developer in at least one of the following areas/products:
- OpenText™ SMAX or Service Manager 9.7.1;
- OpenText™ Operations Orchestration (OO);
- Apex development;
- AWS-based development;
- Experience working in agile development environments;
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools;
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and integration techniques;
