Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area for a Creative Design Intern specializing in Digital & Graphic Design and/or Motion Graphics. You'll be responsible for assisting in the creation of digital and graphic content, supporting the development of creative strategies, and working on various branding projects. Daily tasks include collaborating with team members on design projects and contributing to the overall creative process.

What You'll do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support real client projects and internal initiatives
  • Contribute to ideation, design, and execution of creative work across digital and brand channels, ranging from static to animated assets
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, reviews, and feedback cycles
  • Learn from mentorship, constructive critique, and hands-on experience with a multidisciplinary team

Internship Details & Benefits

- Lisbon-based, must be able to commute to the office in the city center

Job Overview

We are seeking a Creative Technologist to join our Design team at Mercer. You will be joining us in building Oliver Wyman’s new in-house creative hub in Lisbon.


This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.


Role Overview

We're building a design research team that sits alongside traditional creative teams, focused on uncovering scalable and tech-driven solutions for creative challenges.

You'll develop systematic frameworks ready for AI-driven automation, developing design systems that scale from individual digital outputs to comprehensive brand design ecosystems.


You have

  • A diverse design background and you have been in contact with many disciplines (some UI is a plus)
  • A keen eye for good design and the ability to anticipate design needs ;
  • The notion of what a great design system looks like
  • A great understanding of brand and design as a whole , considering all it's instances.

You need to

  • Know all about Figma and its possibilities is a must ;
  • Know the anatomy of a design system;
  • Be proficient in the Adobe Creative suite is a must ;
  • Be fluent in AI tools (not a must but make sure you are willing to learn on the job)

You will

Build Integrated Design Systems

  • Create systematic frameworks that span all brand expressions
  • Develop design systems, component libraries, and documentation that work holistically across disciplines
  • Structure design data to integrate seamlessly with technical prototypes
  • Design templates and systems that can be automated and scaled programmatically

Experiment with AI-Enhanced Workflows

  • Test and implement AI tools across image, video, audio, and text generation
  • Develop automated workflows for brand asset creation;
  • Build systematic approaches to AI-assisted design that can be adopted company-wide;
  • Pioneer methods for programmatic design.

Research Through Making

  • Participate in sprint-based experiments testing new creative-tech approaches
  • Build design components that work within rapid prototype cycles
  • Test systematic approaches against real creative challenges
  • Iterate based on practical implementation learnings

As a Product Presentation Designer at adidas you deliver within your team a wide range of digital concepts and creative directions to elevate eCom Digital Product Content. You work alongside a team of Designers, Producers, Project Managers and external vendors. You are contributing to the delivery of Creative Styleguides for eCom Product digital assets – varying through cropping, styling, casting, lighting, posing, etc…– following the global brand direction for adidas. Together with the global Product Presentation team you share Creative Directions and best practices with internal teams and eCom Image Production Studios enabling responsive and effective digital shopping experience worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Scope:  Responsible for Digital creative design solutions and concepts for eCom Product Presentation

  • Digital Creative Concepts and Solutions
  • Deliver defined digital content Styleguides for Product Photography and Video ensuring a consistent visual language across product collections and categories, provide creative direction for product photoshoots, overseeing Model selects, styling, and posing to achieve high-quality imagery under the supervision of the Creative Lead.
  • Deliver concepts for bespoke product content on and APP that attracts, inspire and engage consumers throughout their journey.
  • Work closely with Business Units and Production teams to understand product features, unique selling points, and overall brand positioning to effectively translate them into visual concepts.
  • Creative Standards
  • Follow digital creative direction and support the implementation through Styleguides, enabling global consistency and raising the quality of execution. Suggest and conduct Styleguide updates autonomously, where needed.
  • Execute creative reviews internally and with external vendors to ensure the brand is represented consistently across the creative deliverables and Styleguides for product presentation.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements and raise suggestions to elevate digital creative deliverables for eCom Product Imagery and Video.
  • Creative Consultation & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Digital Strategy, Digital Product Presentation Production and external eCom Studios worldwide ensuring efficient delivery of creative Digital Product Presentation content.
  • Present creative guidance to stakeholders and Studios within your scope of responsibility and support your work with a clear rational and recommendations.
  • Work together with Creative Director and Creative lead on tasks related to bespoke Product Presentation Content.

  • External Global eCom Studios, Digital Content organization (Product Presentation Production, Digital Content Strategy, Demand Intake)
  • Global Brand (Brand Expression, Brand Strategy, BUs and Brand Comms)

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion, Fine Arts (or related field)
  • 3+ years of a strong portfolio of eCom Product Content within the Fashion industry setup or large corporate brand

2 . Digital Content Creation

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite tools and Figma
  • Experience working with fashion brands to develop creative solutions on a global level
  • Insights and interest in the design fashion/styling industry and ability to predict future trends
  • Studio Set knowledge and basic Photography knowledge
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Creative and energetic team player Strong MS-Office skills (PowerPoint)
  • Fluent English both verbally and written
