What do we do?
Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. What you'll do:
Lead with Vision and Strategy
- Lead and scale our Product Design team as we continue to grow, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
- Drive design strategy that aligns with business objectives and delivers exceptional customer experiences across our product portfolio
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution from concept to launch
- Champion design thinking across the organization, influencing product roadmaps and strategic decisions
Deliver Impact
- Focus relentlessly on customer and business outcomes, using data and user insights to inform design decisions and measure success
- Craft world-class customer experiences that delight users and drive meaningful business results
Build and Develop Talent
- Grow and mentor a talented design team, providing coaching, career development, and creating pathways for advancement
- Foster a culture of design excellence where creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning thrive
Drive Innovation
- Embed cutting-edge AI prototyping tools into our design process, staying ahead of industry trends and enhancing team productivity

About You
This role is a great fit if you:
Meet the eligibility criteria established by the IEFP.
Multilingual abilities — excellent English is a must, but other languages are always a plus.
Are passionate about solving complex problems through design and technology.
Enjoy planning and conducting research, including qualitative user research and market analysis.
Have some experience designing user flows and interactions for complex digital products.
Are skilled in creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for products and services.
Have an eye for crafting visually engaging interaction and communication elements.
Are familiar with user testing and proposition validation methodologies.
Can create customer experience journeys, identify pain points and opportunities, develop personas, and design Future Service Blueprints.
Enjoy supporting and facilitating design workshops in various formats and timeframes (e.g., Design Sprints, Design Thinking sessions, Ideation workshops, Value Proposition design, etc.).
Bonus points if you have:
Background or curiosity in AI and emerging technologies.
UX copywriting, system design, or client training experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborating on exciting and challenging projects with some of our biggest clients across different industries (government, banking, pharmaceutical, energy).
Research, analyze, and translate user and business needs into actionable insights.
Create customer journeys, personas, blueprints, and opportunity maps to shape strategy and scope.
Design and prototype products and services that are elegant, efficient, and user-centered.
Plan and facilitate collaborative workshops with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct user testing and validation, turning findings into clear recommendations.
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (data, engineering, strategy) to ensure solutions are desirable, viable, and feasible.
