Role Description

This is an on-site/remote contract role for a Design Engineer, located in Porto, Portugal.

The engineer will support the design and development of the company's prototype and future aircraft models.

Daily work involves:

• Detailed structural and composite design in
  Siemens NX / FiberSim
• Development of
  lay-up books, laminate manuals, jigs, and molds
• Structural sizing and FEM support for weight optimization
• Collaboration with the manufacturing team during
  lay-up, curing, and assembly
  phases

The role also includes documenting the
manufacturing workflow
(Plybook and Composite Layup Guide) and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Degree in
