Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the definition with other team members of AWS Cloud infrastructure for the company's Cloud based solutions.
• Provide Support on AWS.
• Responsible for implementation of solutions in one or more of the following technical areas: infrastructure architecture, container technologies, serverless compute, databases, networking connectivity, security and compliance.
• Manage the maintenance of the infrastructure environments with standardized process and automatized tools.
• Provision of detailed and Low Level Design documentation with subsequent liaison with other team members.
• Ownership and maintenance of monitoring platform.
• Provide second line support for all company's Cloud infrastructures.
• Being able to ensure on-call duties on AWS scope

Essential skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with the platform;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with CI/CD (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Cloudformation);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Devops environment;
• Experience in designing and implementing AWS-based projects from scratch;
• Proficiency with scripting languages, such as Python or others;
• Solid knowledge of container technologies, preferably Docker and Kubernetes (EKS);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies (valued);
• Knowledge of FinOps (valued);
• Fluency in English – spoken and written.

Your mission

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services — from design, deployment, operation, and refinement;
• Optimize reliability monitoring & alerting;
• Close cooperation with multidisciplinary teams;
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems in the system landscape;
• Work with a complex cloud infrastructure that is used by thousands of users daily;
• Iteratively perform auditing of performance and reliability vulnerabilities;
• Be an active part of decisions and system improvements.

What you need to have

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent;
• At least 1 year of experience in DevOps, System Reliability, or a similar field;
• Experience with scripting languages (python, bash, …);
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques, building continuous integration solutions using Docker and GitLab;
• Ability to use your expertise for input into research, reengineering, and design;
• Experience with Operating Systems & Networking knowledge;
• Experience with microservices architectures;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Datadog, and others;
• Be comfortable working with Jira and Confluence;
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Based in Portugal, with a preference for the Porto area.

Your Mission Will Be

• Designed and deployed a highly available GitLab architecture on Azure;
• Automated infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible;
• Leveraged Azure services for compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and recovery;
• Implemented access controls and authentication (RBAC, SSO, LDAP);
• Supported CI/CD pipeline migration and integration with Azure DevOps;
• Maintained and upgraded GitLab, including runner autoscaling.

You Will Need

• +5 years of experience as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer;
• Experienced in managing large-scale, self-hosted GitLab environments;
• Deep knowledge of GitLab core components (Gitaly, Praefect, Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq);
• Hands-on expertise with Azure, Terraform, and Ansible;
• Skilled in GitLab CI/CD runner management and pipeline security;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus);
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integration and Test Engineer to support the onboarding and deployment of Business Applications (BAs) within fCaaS (Framework Cloud as a Service) environments. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, and automation, with a proactive and hands-on approach to troubleshooting and optimizing deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard and integrate Business Applications into fCaaS environments.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
• Develop and maintain custom Helm charts to streamline deployment processes.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Helm.
• Provide support for internal lab environments and customer-facing deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CI/CD pipeline efficiency and environment stability.

Technical Skills

• Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker
