Are you the one?
- Experience in
participating in and/or coordinating projects
involving the
analysis, design, modeling, implementation and evolution of Big Data solutions
(including building data lakes, data lakehouses, data pipelines, and data frameworks). - In-depth knowledge of
Big Data solution fundamentals
, including the solution and data lifecycle (e.g., collection, integration, quality control phases, etc.). - Extensive experience in
designing and implementing data architectures and solutions using paradigms for handling large-scale data and distributed processing. - Strong experience with
Big Data platforms and technologies
(e.g.,
Spark, Databricks, Kafka, MS Fabric
). - Extensive experience with
distributed storage technologies (e.g., S3)
and various
storage formats (e.g., Parquet, Avro, Delta). - Strong programming experience in
Python
and advanced use of
SQL. - Knowledge of
Big Data services in the cloud (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). - Extensive experience working in
Agile environments and methodologies
, particularly with
DevOps/DataOps practices. - Strong experience with
continuous delivery principles (including version control, unit and automated testing) and with related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

We are looking for a Big Data Platform Administrator for
a project based in Lisbon (Hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Cloudera-based Hadoop clusters (on-premise)
- Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of the platform
- Ensure resource allocation, performance tuning, and hardware optimization
- Manage access controls, including Kerberos authentication, Ranger/Sentry policies, and TLS encryption
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, storage, security) to maintain platform stability

Job Description
We are seeking an Investment Data Analytics Associate to join our Lisbon team. This role sits at the intersection of investment management and data analytics, supporting portfolio managers, client advisors, and global teams with high-quality investment data and insights.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills in data validation and reporting with a solid understanding of investment concepts. They will be able to work confidently with portfolio data, ensuring accuracy and consistency, while also supporting the analysis of performance and risk across asset classes.
This position offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle: portfolio construction, monitoring, and performance attribution. You will play a key role in strengthening our portfolio solutions platform by ensuring that decision-making is supported by accurate data, clear analytics, and scalable processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of multi-asset class daily transaction data
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of investment portfolios
- Validate and analyze investment performance data using methodologies such as Time-Weighted Return (TWR)and Internal rate of return (IRR)
- Prepare customized client reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Support the automation of operational processes in collaboration with the technology team
- Maintain strong data integrity and governance standards, including audit and documentation routines
- Contribute to operational and performance-related projects, including data integration and process optimization
- Promote a data-first culture across operational workflows
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in investment performance analysis, portfolio reporting, or operations within wealth management, asset management, or private banking
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Math or a quantitative field
- Proven Experience in Banking Reconciliation with knowledge of product classification schemas, investment products (liquid and illiquid, public and private)
- Deep understanding of investment performance measurement methodologies, including TWR and IRR
- Strong proficiency in Excel and confidence working with large, complex datasets
- Experience with Addepar or similar investment data platforms
- Experience working with VBA, Python, Power BI or other Business intelligence tools
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); other European languages are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, with analytical thinking and structured thinking
- Self-starter and outside-of-box mindset with a desire to improve processes and automate manual tasks
Other Advantageous Qualifications:
- Studying towards or interest in professional certifications such as CFA
- Experience in databases and SQL, with knowledge of analytical SQL functions an advantage
