We are looking for a highly skilled Technician specializing in Peptides/Proteins – Drug Product Development to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the execution, formulation, and characterization of novel peptide-based therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the development of complex peptide-based drug products, ensuring high-quality and efficient development and production processes.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques, such as HPLC, MS, NMR, and other spectroscopic methods, to characterize and validate properties of synthesized peptides.
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay abreast of the latest developments in peptide and related fields, integrating new knowledge and methodologies into research projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize peptide-based drug products, contributing to the evaluation of structure-activity relationships.
- Actively participate in the planning and implementation of research strategies, including the execution of experimental protocols, data analysis, and interpretation to support the achievement of project milestones.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other team members, fostering a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment for technical growth and development.
- Contribute to drafting research reports, publications, and patent applications, effectively communicating scientific findings and discoveries to internal stakeholders and the broader scientific community.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biology or a related discipline with a focus on peptides and large molecules.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in peptide drug product development and characterization, within a biotechnology or pharmaceutical research environment.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing analytical instruments, such as HPLC, MS, NMR, and other spectroscopic tools, for the characterization and analysis of peptide compounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with excellent communication skills and a track record of successful interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to intellectual property development through patent applications or related activities.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
- Some travel expected in pursuit of company objectives and presence at scientific conferences.

Your responsibilities will include:

We are looking for a Senior R&D Technician specialized in the development of Amorphous Solid Dispersions using technologies such as Spray Drying, HME to join our R&D team.
The Senior R&D Technician will be responsible for conducting pharmaceutical development studies to support drug product R&D projects based on ASD technologies, assuring that formulation development tasks are accomplished within the time frame defined and according to company´s quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct formulations development studies, based on spray drying and HME technology.
- Generate comprehensive knowledge on drug substance and drug product during the pharmaceutical development;
- Analyse, prepare and communicate results to the R&D team;
- Colaborate on the tech transfer of the final drug product.
Requirements:

Principais Responsabilidades:
- Reportar ao Chefe de Turno através de registos e comunicações verbais.
- Monitorizar, arrancar e parar equipamentos da central.
- Realizar inspeções diárias e reportar anomalias.
- Ajustar o funcionamento de equipamentos em articulação com o Técnico de Sistemas de Exploração.
- Executar manobras de paragem, consignação e arranque de equipamentos.
- Operar sistemas de alimentação de geradores de vapor e turbina de produção elétrica.
- Efetuar análises químicas e intervenções em sistemas de tratamento de águas.
- Operar máquinas de carga e descarga quando necessário.
- Realizar limpezas técnicas específicas para garantir a eficiência dos sistemas.
Principais Requisitos:
- 12.º ano com especialização técnica (Manutenção Industrial Eletromecânica ou Mecatrónica).
- Carta de condução de ligeiros (obrigatória).
- Experiência mínima de 3 anos em ambiente industrial.
- Conhecimentos em:
- MS Office e metodologias Lean (preferencial).
- Sistemas pneumáticos, hidráulicos, eletropneumáticos e eletro-hidráulicos.
