We are looking for a
UX Manager
or
Sr. UX Manager
to lead and mentor a global team of designers working on projects for our Growth group in Research and Development. This person will be responsible for managing a team of five UX designers and ensuring that the new functionality we release meets both business and user goals. The role reports to the VP of User Experience in our R&D organization.
The UX team consists of product designers and technical writers who are committed to helping our users create compelling product experiences. We use Figma to create designs using our design system, Habanero. In addition, we employ a set of tools to connect with current and potential customers both within and outside our product.
The Growth group at Salsify is focused on creating new products and capabilities that drive customer satisfaction and business expansion. As one of the leaders of this group, you'll form a triad with an engineering and product management leader to drive innovative projects that push the boundaries of what Salsify's platform can achieve. You'll understand the product, manage a team, and create and sustain processes that help us grow and scale.

What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Experience Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, ideally in
e-commerce or omnichannel
environments (B2C focus). - A strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, execution, and outcomes.
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of UX design principles, accessibility, and user psychology.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as
Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro
. - Data-informed mindset with experience using A/B testing (Adobe Target experience is a plus).
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional, international teams.
- Familiarity with
agile development (Scrum)
and the ability to deliver in fast-paced, iterative environments. - Experience with AR/VR interfaces is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- The role and your mission:
As part of the Digital Team, we are looking for a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer with a strong background in mobile-first design and app user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning digital experiences that meet customer needs while driving business results. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, bringing advanced design expertise, innovative ideas, and deep knowledge of Figma to elevate our digital presence.
- Your work:
· Drive and contribute to the mission of the Digital team to increase online sales
· Lead UX design projects for web, mobile, and self-platforms, ensuring consistency and best practices across all channels, and adapting the design for each brand
· Translate ideas into wireframes, user flows, and evolve them into high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma to clearly communicate concepts and support decision-making
· Drive a mobile-first design approach while ensuring designs are adaptive and responsive across desktop and other platforms.
· Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-centered solutions. From ideation to launch.
· Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor benchmarking to guide design decisions. When optimizing existing experiences, establish clear before/after benchmarks across key use cases to support iteration and facilitate developer implementation
· Carry out end2end testing and quality testing to ensure the developer implementation reflects the wished design & user experience expected
· Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries in Figma.
· Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization are integrated into the design process.
· Ensure design consistency across each brand, while building designs & components that boost synergies across brands too
· Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices
- What you bring:
· 5+ years experience as a UI/UX Designer, with expertise e-commerce and other customer-facing digital platforms. Experience in telecom is a plus,.
· Proven mobile-first design expertise, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and app design projects.
· Advanced Figma skills, including creation and maintenance of design systems (components, styles, and libraries), prototyping, and strong familiarity with Figma variables, modes to support theming, scalability and responsiveness.
· Strong visual design abilities, with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
· Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics tools.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
· Extremely organized personality. You find yourself at ease working on many projects at the same time and know how to organize yourself around it, without getting lost and keeping track of your open actions.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
· Accessibility knowledge.
· Fluency in English.
