We are recruiting a Trade Marketing Manager to lead Trade Marketing
department in a FMCG lead company, based in Algarve, in Albufeira
City.
This person will have as main responsibilities:
•
Define and implement the
- marketing strategies to win with
customers in channels: ON, OFF and
- commerce;
• Manage,
planning and execution commercial calendar and orchestrates all
activities at point of sales ensuring effective visibility and
promotion and wining mix of brand & category activity to drive
business performance within customers;
• Partner with sales in
driving best in class physical availability of our brands and
execution at the POS, setting channel specific brand and category
execution standard/Guidelines and monitor and evaluates
- store
execution compliance against
- defined KPIs (perfect
store);
• Ensure innovation launching phases;
• Supports
negotiations on key customers by developing and providing succinct
category stories/presentation for key accounts and field sales
teams;
• Coordinate role plays (in meeting cycle) to give sales
teams strategic messages for selling;
• Lead trade marketing
team;
• Manage Trade Marketing budget;
• KPIs analysis
and business analysis, built metrics to track success and identify
gaps vs planned outcomes for initiatives;
• Monitors and ensure
the right optimization and prioritization of BTL A&P investment,
forecasting, measuring and evaluating key activities (Pre & Post) and
driving promotional effectiveness (ROI). Use this information to make
better future business decisions;
• Define and develop a
complete catalogue of POS materials to support brands and
sales;
• Close cooperation with marketing, sales &
digital;
• Gathering information via market via market visits
and data analysis. Understanding and analysis of the sector,
competitive positioning of the brand with the need of the
customer;
• Build and maintain business relationships with
strategic customers group, trade associations and key opinion
leaders;
• This role requires also frequent interactions
both
- house (with
- functional team) and externally (with
agencies, suppliers). Also, frequent visits to POS and
partners.
Profile:
• Business Administration
degree.
• More than 5 years experience in a Trade Marketing
management, Marketing management and/or Sales, with strong passion for
FMCG;
• Ideally with Marketing and/or Sales
background;
• Fluent in English; Portuguese and other
Languages;
• Proactive, business oriented, growth mindset and
detailed oriented;
• Creative;
• Finance acumen and
negotiation skills;
• Solid team member with excellent
interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationship with
colleagues and partners;
• Capacity to work under pressure in a
changing environment and to manage unexpected challenges
