KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER ONCOLOGY
CENTRE (AVEIRO/VISEU/COIMBRA/FIGUEIRA/SATAREM)

We are looking for a Key Account Managers in Portugal , in the central area, responsible for leading and developing local strategic customer relationships to grow our client’s business within compliance and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for our client’s brand, its vision and values that achieves patient focus at all levels of the business.
  • Run high-level scientific meetings with customers to convey product importance
  • Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies.
  • Participate at congresses, meetings and trainings.
  • Have a deep understanding of respective area and products. Including knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers and competitors.
  • Responsible for continuous expansion of their knowledge, identifying gaps and new requirements specific for his/her context and addressing them proactively and independently.

What are we looking for?

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ONCOLOGY is a must.
  • Proven experience in a similar Sales role in the pharmaceutical sector, with knowledge of the hospital and prescription markets, respiratory therapeutical area desirable.
  • Previous experience in engaging partnership with HCP, having delivered strong results in a secondary care environment (preferably in a specialty care setting).
  • Experience of close collaboration with HCP/payers and commercial/access managers in engaging value-based partnerships.
  • Ability to learn new product and disease area knowledge quickly to enable effective communications with different customers.
  • Degree-level qualification in a life science or healthcare subject.
  • High level of English desirable.
  • Willingness to travel, be away from home (large geographic territory and central briefings) and international destinations.
  • Valid and clean driver’s licence.

  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken), confident building relationships at all levels, utilising influencing and persuasion skills and navigating cultural differences.
  • Exceptional customer focus – dedicated to meeting expectations of customers and able to build effective internal and external networks with key stakeholders to support sales activities.
  • Team player who can see the big picture, but also comfortable working on own initiative.
  • Analytical thinking, resiliency, results orientation and entrepreneurial mindset.
