We are looking for a Front Office Manager to join our 5 star hotel in an international group, located in the stunning Madeira Island! What we need: -Passion for hospitality and proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar role -Customer-orientated attitude and in-depth knowledge of customer service -Proficiency in speaking and writing in Portuguese & English, basic German, French is a plus -Careful presentation -Proactive, with a sense of initiative and teamwork -Sense of responsibility and autonomy -Excellent communication and people skills -Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel -Knowledge in operational systems Main Responsibilities and Duties: -Be part of the opening team and guarantee a smooth and well organized operation -Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards -Run and collaborate with the entire Front-Office team, including reception, concierge service and reservations -Solve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism -Identify talents, lead, train and build team spirit in a huge team -Monitor the quality and financial KPIs -Address guests service needs and deal with specific customer requests -Coordinate the inventory of the staff accommodation -Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments and colleagues -Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of hotel guests What we offer: -Hotel opening experience -Monthly salary above average -Meal allowance -Free parking space -If applicable, accommodation provided -Professional and personal growth -Dynamic and collaborative work place Contract: -Full time and indefinite term
